"You can achieve anything you set your mind to"

"With a lot of work" -William Peru (age 5 grandson)
Steve Ow has spent over 30 years in the CEO seat — founding, scaling, and selling companies, running billion-dollar operations, and leading teams from a handful of people to thousands worldwide. His coaching is grounded in the same high-stakes decisions and challenges his clients face every day.
In 1989, Steve co-founded Micro-Pulse Incorporated, manufacturing the GPS antenna for the first-ever handheld GPS unit and the first Hertz PathMaster system for rental cars, now in the Smithsonian. His company created the antenna system for General Motors’ OnStar when many dismissed the idea of in-car navigation. Leading this kind of innovation taught him how to champion ideas others can’t yet see, a skill he now uses to help CEOs drive change inside their own companies.
At Andrew Corporation, Steve took on a $1B global operation with five manufacturing plants and 2,500 employees. By overhauling processes, he improved cash flow by $50M and cut $52M in costs in just one year, proving how disciplined decision-making can create massive impact without sacrificing quality.
Steve then founded Mica-Tech, whose satellite communications technology managed much of the Western U.S. power grid for clients like Southern California Edison. To accelerate growth, he acquired and integrated two companies, experience he now draws on to coach CEOs navigating acquisitions, integrations, and other complex growth moves.
At Tecom Industries, Steve launched the Commercial Aviation Systems division, leading a team of just 65 to develop the satellite broadband systems now flying on Southwest Airlines, Norwegian Air Shuttle, and Mango Airlines. Scaling that division to $30M in revenue reinforced one of his core beliefs: a focused, empowered team can outperform much larger competitors.
From 2013 to 2020, Steve served as a Vistage Chair, running confidential peer advisory boards for CEOs and business owners. There, he refined his approach to facilitating honest, high-value conversations that help leaders see blind spots, make better decisions, and achieve stronger results.
After decades in high-pressure leadership, Steve knows that the best business decisions depend on a leader’s mental clarity, physical health, and personal resilience. Today, through Peer Roundtable and one-on-one coaching, he helps CEOs sharpen strategy, strengthen leadership, and sustain the health it takes to lead for the long game.
